How do you include 50,000 people in ministry? Prayerfully. Intentionally. One person at a time. God has entrusted the Stonecroft corps of volunteers with a goal to add 50,000 new voices serving together by December 31. 2010 and we’ve begun working together to achieve that goal.
Intentionally: ANTICIPATE (You’ve got to be looking) every moment the opportunity to meet someone new that God wants in His ministry at Stonecroft. When I eat out at restaurants (two to three times a week) I always say to the waiter or waitress, “We are going to have a blessing. Is there anything we can pray for ________(I insert their name) about?” God is opening doors to lives who need to know Him. I’m looking for women of God, and those women who need to know God, so I can be ready to share this ministry when God opens the door.

One person at a time. One life at a time. One new friendship at a time. One person who seems like they are lonely. One person who loves life and may love learning about our Lord. One person who likes a good dinner. One person who has nothing to do that night. One person can be anyone. We can include anyone. Anyone can be that one…and then that one more.

In a world where we all seem so busy and on overload I am finding that I need to stop and seize each opportunity when asked to be in relationship with those women I meet who are hurting or alone. We need to look at all our business and see what is empty business and what is meaningful that would further the Love of Christ and the commision of sharing the gospel. I am praying that God will show me what HE wants me to do with each day vs. what I think or feel I need to do.. that “I” gets in the way doesn’t it?!
